Diomand
etwas ganz besonderes geschaffen. Die Vorgaben für dieses Bike waren
klar definiert!
Low.
Brutal and Uncompromising!

DA#3
BMW R100R /1994
Background
By
the end of 2014, it seemed like Diamond Atelier hit a spot in the
custom motorcycle scene with
their first full bike build. According to plan, the team’s next
project was a small capacity Yamaha
– the DA#2. But due to the unexpected success of the BMW R80 and
the vast amount of
ideas the guys still had for this model, it became clear that their
next custom bike had to be
another Airhead Boxer. The required characteristics for the bike
included staggered wheels, a
powerful 1000cc engine and solid front end suspension. All
this was found in a 1994 BMW R100R Classic in immaculate condition,
which was chosen to
be transformed into what now is the DA#3 – the most radical BMW to
be legally driven on German
streets.
